Be Realistic!

The idea of weight loss before wedding is a burden for you together with some other things to attend to. However, when you are willing to do it for your wedding, it will not be hard though. However, time must be considered when you want to lose weight. You must be REALISTIC. If you only have two weeks left to lose weight before the marriage, you cannot expect a superb outcome. There are no magic pills that will burn your fat all the way. Spend the two weeks on exercising and dieting. Don’t be too desperate, allow yourself to eat just enough. No one would want to be starving on their wedding day. However, when you still have time to work out your big body, then do so with diet and exercise.

Stop Starving and Begin the Burn

Starving is not advised or else you will faint and you will have a bad memory with your wedding. So, stop it and focus on the fats that need to be burnt. When our body is receiving fewer calories, it will not function properly. Basically, instead of burning the energy that is stored in fat, the body will hold on to every ounce of it because the body cannot work at its fullest because of calorie deficit. Instead of starving, go get some total body workout. Have some treadmill, stationary bike and aerobics for 30 solid minutes each day.

Count your calories

We move to step two, counting your calories. Counting Calories isn’t hard; it just takes an ample of your time! It’s easy, here’s how!

Body weight x 14.

The answer to number 1 is your calorie budget. This will give you idea as to how many calories you should be eating daily.

Keep that number with you at all times especially when deciding what to eat! Know the number of calories you are eating so that you know if the calories you ate are more or less.

Healthy Diet

Once diet is heard, it feels like so dreadful for many. However, diet doesn’t have to starve you or force you to eat raw foods. A proper diet can actually give you more energy and burns you more fat.

So we are done with determining your caloric needs to help you maintain your weight. Now it’s time to know what foods should you eat.

High Fiber Diet. It prevents certain kind of diseases such as diabetes (increase blood sugar) and hypertension (increase blood pressure). Increasing fiber in the diet can improve digestion and body metabolism, as such; fat burning can speed up too.

Foods rich in fiber include:

– peas
– spinach
– sweet corn
– whole meal brown bread
– red cabbage
– carrots
– baked potato with skin
– apples
– bananas
– oranges and many others

High Protein Food. Proteins can keep the body going. All poultry products are rich in protein but be careful in choosing, a food that has less cholesterol and less fat should be eaten. It is advised that 3 servings of protein can be eaten daily. A protein in the diet can make you feel full thus preventing you to eat more and more.

Drink water. 6-8 glasses of water per day are necessary as it hydrates our body and prevents us to feel hungry.

Eat smaller meals/day. Eating at least 4-6 small meals daily than eating 3 big meals is better as it gives the body enough energy for the day so that it also performs his function well especially in fat and calorie burning.

Avoid sugar rich foods. Sugar in the diet can increase fats in the body. The more fats, the more weight gain.

Low carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are easily digested. So when it is easily digested, you can feel hunger from time to time so you eat more. Too much carbohydrate can be converted into a sugar.
These are just some of the few tips to help you fit for your wedding. Give enough time to do it and willingness to give an extra effort to do it. If time will not permit you to work out, maintain your weight. You cannot force yourself to starve and be deprived of food or else it will add up on to the stress you are getting in the preparation for wedding. Don’t be too pressured with working out if you have not prepared well enough for the wedding. Prioritize first. Remember, you may not be too fit and thin on your wedding for most people, but someone has LOVED you to marry you forever. Stick to that!
